PHYSICIANS AND APPOINTMENT TIMES 

Today, cardiology is considered as  Non-invasiv methods of diagnosis , patient monitoring and invasive procedures incluede interventional cardiology.

Non-invasive (non interventionel) cardiology department:

• Electrocardiography

• Echocardiography

• Transesophageal echocardiography

• Effort test

• 24-28 hour holter (EKG rhythm)

• 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring

• For diagnosis and managment cardivascular system diseases MRI is also available in our hospital

• In order to control the patients had a pacemaker, HEART CELLS/ICD clinic has entered into service.

Invasive(interventionel)cardiology department 

A-) CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY AND STENT/BALOON OPERATIONS :

Coronary angiography equipments available in our hospital which is limited with number of centers in turkey and all over the world is called flat panel (in north and south cyprus) and increasing the quality of angiography. 

* 24 hours proffesional health care team to intervene clogged ateries in heart attack:

24 hours medical personel are  kept ready in cardiology unit to minimize  damage to the heart, immediatly open clogged ateries feeding the heart.

*Angiography in wrist: 

Due to uncontrolled bleeding ,swelling vein in the groin,extremly painfull and patients have problem that limit the movement risk is almost close to zero with ajiografide wrist made.In wrist angiography,only 3-4 hours patients kept under surveillance,coming to operation center by walking and after operaiton, returning back by walking is very important in terms of patient comfort.

B-) INVASIVE ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY OPERATIONS:

Pacemaker/ICD implantation,fixing the problems of patients with interventional method who had pacemaker ,making electrophysiological studies to the  patients who has rythm disorders(mapping of cardiac electrical),appling ablation to correct arrhythmias.In our hospital,radiofrequency ablation(heating) and cryoablasyon(cooling) systems are available.Also there is a battery outpatient service in our hospital which serve 24 hours for patients who has pacemaker/ICD.

C-) EXCLUSIONS CORONARY OPERATIONS

Correction of some valve dysfunctions with non-surgical methods:

Balloon mitral valvuloplasty,Balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty.

Forming hole in the heart with non-surgical methods:

Percutaneous ASD / VSD / PDA closure.
