In department of Pediatric Health and Hiseases, 0-18 aged children and adoloscents tests,treatments and preventive health services are provided.Since the day of birth,all childhood diseases examined , survied and traeted by specialists.

Pediatric Health and Disease

The primary objective in  department of Pediatric Health and Disease is implementing preventive medicine to children. To inform parents about it,to ensure children reach to adolescent period as healty individuals is the most important goal for pediatric.

Starting from birth,all exeminations related to childhood diseases,diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed by experienced physicians.For this purpose,our hospitial has 3 outpatient clinic which serve in modern conditions. In medical emergencies,our emergency has enough personnel and equipment to response the needs of children.Our other goal is stress on  how breest-feeding is important in terms of  baby development. Therefore,our employees working to fed babies with only breast milk in the first 6 months. By taking blood from the heel of  babies phenylketonuria,hypothyrodism and metobolic disorders are screened. After birth,     babies are examined in 1th week  then in 1st year between one or two months.In 2nd year, examination are made between 6 months and 1 year. In this exemination,baby’s physical,  social and psychological  developments are evaulated.

Pediatric Hematology

All kinds of blood products and blood diseases are tested and treated in our hospital. All anemias,iron deficieny anemy,vitamin B12 deficiency anemy, mediterranean anemy, sickle cell anemia and other abnormal hemoglobins, bone marrow insufficiencies, aplastic anemia, fanconi aplastic anemia, diamond-blackfan anemia, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, neutropenia, childhood leukemia, bleeding diathesis, thrombosis clotting disorders are related with pediatric hematology.
