Department of Orthopadic surgery which is one of the largest  part of medicine contains several  specific fields. Each of these branches required different features such as technique and experinece.

Orthopedics and traumatology department is structured based on medikent health group with these ideas. Most of the time, we are facing Trauma,falls,sports injuries,accidents, traffic accidents with suprise. According to saverity of trauma, damages can be changed from soft tissue injury to comminuted fracture on big bones. In order to treat a patient who had severe trauma, it is required to have well equppied, a serious organization and teamwork.  Trauma center must be open  for trauma patients cause it is not posiible to estimate when trauma cases occurs. Purpose of our hospital is keeping at least one orthopedic specialists in hospital 24 hours  of day. After meeting the patients and making first intervention, radical treatment is carried out in the shortest time by orthopedic trauma specialists.

Approach in  treatment of fractures and surgical techniques are constantly renewed. In parallel with technological developments, continuously better, more modern and better treatment methods and instruments are being developed. The aim is return patients to daily life as soon as possible.

Arthroscopy and sport injuries (knee-shoulder): Athroscopic knee surgery;meniscectomy or meniscus repair, athroscopic anterior cruciate ligament, cartilage injuries, arthroscopic microfracture or osteochondral cartilage transplants are treated with arthroscopic techniques. At the end, patients return their work and sport life in a short time.

Treatment of spine surgery (spinal surgery), since birth or subsequently became curvatures(scoliosis), forward curvature or kyphosis and schuermann kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, degenerative disease resulting of aging spine(dependent calcium) problems, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis(osteoporosis) due to hunchback, freactures and thier treatments, spine injury due to accidents

Children orthopedics and traumataology: Treatment and monitoring of congenital hip dislocation, clubfoot, congenital deformities, smooth soles and development disorders for children under 16 years.

Foot and ankle surgery: Treatment of Degenerative diseases af foot and ankle, sport injuries, fractures, ties tears, cartilage injuries. 

Orthopaedic oncology: Treatment of all bone, muscles and soft tissues and all medical and surgical treatment of tumors of extremities.

Shoulder and Elbow surgery: Traetment of arthrosis of shoulder and elbow, recurrent dislocation of rotator cuff disease, illnesses or injuries due to overuse.

Artoz-arthritis: Treatment of knee osteoarthritis and koxartroz, hip and knee prosthesis.

Extremity: Treatment of bone of deformities, fracture and bone infections.

Hip fractures: Treatment especially for elderly patients who exposed traumas.

Hand and upper extremity surgery: Planing, regulating and implementing of  Diagnosis and treatment for hand, elbow, wrist and arms related problems is realized with modern techniques and methods.
